• Nokia is launching its 3G Booklet Notebook in the UK market. Even though the gadget is sleek it is packed with numerous features like Windows 7 operating system, 10.1inch HD display, 3G with 802.11 b/g/n compatibility and GPS facilities.
• The Nokia 3G Notebook is just 2 inch thick packed in a beautiful aluminium body with 1GB ram and 120 GB hard disc.It has a 12 hour backup facility and enables the user to send SMS and browse the web using IE8. With its 1.3 megapixel camera it is good for video calls and has excellent sound clarity.

GPS wrist watch

If your kids have a tendency to wonder you probably wanna checkout Lok8u.  But what about the senile grandparents in your life?  They can end up half way across the state before you or them realize they’re lost.
This wrist watch like cell phone uses Aerotel’s GeoSKeeper GPS service to keep tabs on its wearers location at all times.  If they wonder out of a set zone an SMS is sent to the monitoring party notifying them of the breach – sounds a bit like house arrest.  And unlike Lok8u’s GPS monitoring wrist watch, this one can speed dial up to 3 preprogrammed parties and receive calls.  It’s currently available in the EU with no word on a US launch.
GeoSKeeper™ is a light-weight wrist-worn GPS-based personal telecare safety device. It offers users and their families a new level of safety and peace of mind using its embedded GSM/GPRS module, built-in speakerphone and active GPS receiver. With its geofencing feature, the device provides real time information over the user’s accurate location. When the wearer wanders outside a specified zone (e.g. neighborhood or school area), the system sends a short message (SMS) alert to a monitoring center and to a relative or caregiver.
